About Me

Jason Piazza’s experience in real estate is replete with diversity, growth, and proven success, making his work as the Director of Real Estate essential in WeCann’s success.

After graduating from UCLA, Jason jumped headfirst into what would be a long, fruitful career in real estate. He began in property management and residential mortgage, then in 2007 he transitioned to commercial real estate (CRE) and founded Barbazza Commercial Real Estate (BCRE). In his 10 years at BCRE, Jason worked as a generalist and represented tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers in all the asset classes: office, retail, industrial, medical, multi-family, and land. There wasn’t a deal Jason wouldn’t touch and this experience created a knowledge of commercial real estate which is whole and complete. In his years at BCRE, Jason inked deals across many industries and uses including cannabis, chiropractors, cross-fit, attorneys, rehabilitation, boutiques, restaurants, event centers, investors, high end auto storage, developer land acquisition, auto sales, and many more. He was able to accomplish this with zero marketing, just repeat and referral clientele.

Since founding WeCann with his partners in early 2017, Jason has utilized that vast experience to lead the brokerage to nearly 100 brokered deals valued at over $160,000,000 in total value. The creativity and skills he gained from negotiating deals on varying asset classes culminated well in the intricate nature of cannabis real estate, which draws on an array of commercial real estate asset types and deal structures.
